Let Your Heart Sing

This painting was in the hotel we stayed in. It captured me. I wished I was standing inside it. Some tree's turn pink on the East coast in the spring (cherry blossoms). What would it be like to have pink tree's all year around? I know it's cool to "go green" nowadays, but wouldnt it be marvelous to "Go Pink!?" Think outside the box. You are unique and wonderfully made. You have something to contribute to this world. It is essential to our well being and to our lives that we play and enjoy life. Every single day do something that makes your heart sing. -Wiedner Marcia

NO WORDS

No Words can express the MAJESTY of the Falls. This weekend to celebrate our 5th Anniversary we went to Niagara Falls. It was so breathtaking. This was the Maid of the Mist boat ride. It was Glorious under the falls. I cant even describe it... and pictures do not do it justice. One of the 7 wonders of the world...You've got to GO. Soak in the WONDERS God places before you each day.

Relationships

When I traveled to Romania one summer, something really stood out to me about the people. Relationships. They were so in tuned with nurturing relationships with each other. It was refreshing. When I came back to the U.S I was stunned at how busy everybody was. So when did americans get so busy they forget to nurture relationships? God blessed you with those precious friends and family members. SLOWDOWN. Take TIME out of your day today to nurture the blessings God has given you. Meet a friend for lunch, Send your mom some flowers, Call your sister:) Ready, Set, Go! Nurture those relationships.

Creating

Today as I was sipping my iced green tea at the Barnes and Noble, I came across this entertainment centerpiece idea. Using celery! Wow beautiful. Since we have been here Ive been the gracious receiver of a dozen pink roses... Twice.( I dont know what has gotten into my Doodlebug, but I like it.) So I rushed to the produce junction, purchased a bag of celery hearts and made this centerpiece. It was so easy. Had my flowers in a glass jar I was using as a vase. I put a rubber band around the jar, arranged the celery around the jar and wrapped a ribbon over the rubber band. Viola...A centerpiece. Life is'nt about finding yourself. Life is about creating yourself. -unknown

Authenticity

Ok, I have only been blogging for the past 2 months. In no way, do I want to create a persona of this perfect happy life. I want to be authentic in this blog. Life is messy... and lovely, there are trials... and triumphs. I only wish to be encouraging as we are all on this journey together. Authenticity is being brave enough to be transparent about who we really are and not hiding behind who we think we should be. We all have strengths and things we need to improve, bad habits and gifts we need to share. So let s all vow to be authentic and spur each other on to be who God created us to be.

TRUST

Do you ever feel that you are alone on this journey? That this life you lead is not what you thought it would be? In his heart A man plans his course, but the lord determines his steps. proverbs 16:9. God see's you and know the desires of your heart. TRUST his leading.

Cast Vision

About a month ago, we were on the Riverwalk in San Antonio. We stopped at Mcdonalds to use the restroom. When I came out I saw my husband in line.( but we had just eaten?) As I approached I realized he was buying a meal for a homeless man. The man was so excited he wanted us to sit as he told us his story. He told us a sad story of how his own grandmother accused him of stealing and kicked him out of the house. As he was getting deeper into it I stopped him and asked him if we could pray for him. He was shocked and immediately said YES. So we held hands and prayed for him at the table. After we prayed... he said a prayer too. He cried. This man knew Jesus, it was evident in his prayer. He looked as if he had made some bad decisions that got him to this point. But dont we all get off our course at times? My husband and I did not give him money or a place to stay but we did hopefully encourage him in his walk with christ. Casting Vision on his journey. We saw it in his face. He had such a look of peace as we left him. We all know someone who has gotten off the path, might we encourage them and Cast Vision into their lives. Showing Gods love :)

SATISFY

Wow, It is so green here. I love it. I see so much beauty in the nature all around. I took this picture at the park outside bella's dog-park I found. It reminded me of a verse. The lord will guide you always; he will satisfy your needs in a sun-scorched land and will strengthen your frame. You will be like a well watered garden, like a spring whose waters never fail. Isaiah 58:11

Joy

I had to re post this picture because I erased it by mistake. This is Our Bella boo. She is our joy. She has made this trip several times and adapts to many situations with ease. She was beat when we arrived and slept most part of the next day. This morning we went to a park. The parks are wonderous here. Light is shed upon the righteous and joy upon the upright in heart. rejoice in the lord, you who are righteous and praise his holy name. Psalm 96:11-12

Rain

Ok, We are here. On the East coast. It rained all the way from Dallas to Virginia! Lots of rain. Though at times driving conditions were a bit scary, God was with us the whole way carrying our car into safety. And it made good for good sleep conditions...(for me, hee hee
The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear him, and he delivers them. psalm 34:7
